How we approach it

“Our current website no longer represents our business.” A redesign begins with the site you have: what people come for, where they give up, which pages still earn visits from search. From that the content is restructured, the paths to an enquiry or a booking are straightened, the visual design is refreshed to match the brand, and the site is rebuilt where the old foundation is not worth keeping. Content is migrated, old addresses are redirected to the new ones, the search visibility that is useful is preserved, and the site is checked again after launch. A redesign is a decision about the business and the visitor's experience, not a change of colours and fonts.
“Our platform is difficult to use.” For a platform that staff or customers struggle with, the work starts by watching how it is used, then simplifying the structure, the forms and the language before anything is redrawn. - Fixed packages and list prices: scope and fees are set in the proposal for each site
- Uptime figures, response times and unlimited revisions: what the care plan covers is written in the plan, and only what is written is promised
- Booking engines, payment systems and other connections are scoped and quoted on their own once their requirements are known
- Search visibility work beyond the launch checks is a service of its own (SEO & Digital Visibility)

Questions people ask
Will we lose our Google rankings if we redesign?
Rankings can move when a site changes, which is why the redesign maps every old address to a new one, keeps the pages that earn visits, and checks Search Console before and after launch. Nobody can promise a position; the work is to protect what is useful.
Can we edit the site ourselves afterwards?
Yes, where the plan says so: pages you change often are built on a content management system, and you are shown how to use it. Changes you prefer not to make yourself go through web care.
Do we need web care?
A site needs updates, backups and someone watching it. If your team can do that, you do not need the plan. If not, web care is a plan in writing, with its scope agreed before it starts.
