About the client

The Riang Villa is a small boutique villa compound on Jalan Taman Sari in Kerobokan Kelod, on the Kerobokan side of Seminyak, about five minutes from Seminyak Square.

It is built and furnished in ulin and other tropical hardwoods and set in a garden with pools. It sums itself up in three words, “Rest, Reflect, Renew”, and as “warm and sincere”; it has resident cats and serves a floating breakfast.

What we did

Pakai Hati designed the villa's monogram, made a short video for it, Strategic Location, and designed a concept for its social media feed.

A monogram, not a picture
R and V joined by one diagonal in a thin serif, gold on the villa's dark green, with the name spaced beneath: a mark that stays legible at the size of a feed tile.
Rest as the subject
The feed concept writes about rest in short lines, “You did enough today”, over dark leaves and daybeds, in the register of the villa's own Rest, Reflect, Renew.
Location first, then rest
Strategic Location spends its fifteen seconds on where the villa is, the shore nearby and the minutes to Petitenget Beach, and ends on the villa's own three words, Rest, Reflect, Renew.
